10/11/02 SavageLane.com/BeantownMeltdown.com Press Release Week 5 of the first round of the Beantown Meltdown on October 11th is again co-hosted by Mike C. of SavageLane.com/Bonescrew Management and Stephanie Marino of Soundcheck Magazine/WNTN "All Local Show". Lots of other bands in the house including members of Bonescrew, Dashboard Jesus, 12:06, Down 2 Zero, Moontide, Chaos Structure and Lost in Faith. All You'll See opens the night with metal music that grabs everyone's attention. I.I.J. "Is it Jazz", the next band has a sound that is very difficult to describe. Lets just say it is different. Their unique sound gets a great response from the crowd. Sex Magic, up next has a large crew of people in the house supporting them. "Sex Maniacs", host Mike C. refers to them as he introduces the band. The band lights the club up. Product 62, a Lynn based band, play it loud. The club is now close to full capacity and Product 62 has a large group of people up front. Peace Music, changes the dynamic of the night with their more mainstream (less heavy) rock music. This band has been working with a well-known producer who has also done work with Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 and other famous people. Peace Music have good songs, slick sound, and most importantly the people dancing out front. Great drums and guitars. http://peace-music.com Psycho closes the night with their truly "Psycho" fans chanting their name over and over again. They play punk rock, Ramones style.
